Last night I cooked something new. Both a new fish and a new garnish. We bought sea bass on our weekly shop as we wanted a wee change from the norm. Plus the hot weather that we’ve all been experiencing there is just a need for something light and refreshing!
So with the sea bass, Mr C found this recipe that ticked all the boxes of what we had in the fridge/store. Great start – saves money and less food waste!
I don’t have any photos of the process/methods but the recipe was easy to follow and adapt. White Wine was an addition to the recipe – I couldn’t help myself!
This is what the end result was. It tasted so clean and refreshing in quite a clammy evening.
I did miss out the basil though (forgot) and used a standard salad tomato chopped up.
