Yeap its wild garlic season again and the beginnings of spring – wooo hoo!
I’m bringing back my wild garlic pesto recipe for you …. here!
I added this years pesto to some fried sliced chicken thighs and named it “spring chicken! Warming the pesto up brought out the wild garlic flavour even more so! But noticed I forgot to take a photo (major fail!). Never mind, we used the remaining pesto, which was good serving to fusilli pasta for a traditional italian dinner!
Harvested a bit too much so popped the remaining wild garlic in the freezer for another day.
Whilst i was harvesting it last week, the sun was setting so was really nice lighting. I took some photos with the iPhone of it and wild flowers too. The wild garlic flowers were close to coming out too.
